Venus and Moon Earlier Tonight
As we did not go anywhere tonight, trying to avoid the roads that may have drunk drivers from the New Year’s partying, we instead look at the sky for our natural New Year’s fire works display, that is of the stars, the moon and planet Venus. We had fun, since we have not tried photographing the sky at dark at all, and this is our first time. I actually get lost with focusing since I could not even see well the sky in the eye piece. I realized that those taking pictures of the sky at night must really be very good! A lot of patience too, since the exposure is alot longer.

Anyway, the New year has brought me a new challenge, that is to practice more taking picture of the sky at night. Lights are beautiful, and natural lights from the sky make it even a lot more beautiful. We just have so many blessings to enjoy life, for free!! It is all up to us if we take them and be satisfied with the joys of simple life.
