Rain!!

Published by betchai at 12:13 am under San Diego, gardens, ocean, outdoor, tidepool, walking Edit This

Last week had been really a busy week for me despite it was actually a no-work week for it was our thanksgiving break. However, with the home project we were doing, it was hard to catch up with a lot of things. One of the great blessings we had enjoyed last week was rain. It seldom rain here in San Diego, and last week’s rain was a treat. I love rain, only that I was not feeling so well to really enjoy the rain outside. But at least, I was able to take some pictures after the rain. Some pictures I took right after the rain, in our small backyard.

Later in the morning, I decided to walk some more, this time, around our neighborhood, but there was no more trace of rain :(

I missed the rainbow :( , everybody has picture of big rainbow over San Diego, but not me :( . Oh well. After a short walk around our neighborhood, I joined my hubby and his visiting friend to Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Since I do not play golf, I took pictures and actually, I hiked in the Reserve :)  And to end our day, we went down to Cabrillo National Monument, did a little bit of walking here and there around the tidepool area.

And when it was time for sunset, we went up to the Old Point Loma Lighthouse at Cabrillo National Monument, and took some sunset pictures which still shows the overhanging clouds after our rain storm.

The beauty of rain! It brings a different effect everywhere. Rain, please visit San Diego again sometime soon :) We do miss you, a lot!

Well it certainly is gorgeous over there when it rains. The sunsets are spectacular with the dark clouds. I love the rain droplets on the rose and autumn leaves. You are an excellent photographer. What an eye for beauty. BTW thanks for the comments and when you come out to SF, let’s get together and maybe even take some pics.
